GENERAL CRITERIA

1. A registration application must be made for accreditation and hence attendance at the conference.
 
2. Registration for the conference is free.
 
3. The number of conference participants is limited by the capacity of the rooms available at the ILO. If more registration requests are received than the maximum number of participants, accreditations will be issued solely on the basis of the order in which requests are received.
 
3.1. Simultaneous interpreting will be provided in Spanish, English and French for the plenary sessions.
 
4. Funds to finance travel and/or stays in Geneva are extremely limited and will only be used to facilitate the participation of people/organisations from developing countries at the conference. We are grateful to Oxfam Novib for this financial support.
 
4.1. Despite considerable effort, the Conference Secretariat has so far been unable to obtain further funding for travel and/or stays in Geneva. Requests for finance that cannot be met using the funds detailed above will be passed to international foundations in the third sector and/or to governments of states participating in the conference to seek possible funding from them. However, given the unlikelihood of such funding being forthcoming, it is recommended that the interested individual/organisation should apply directly to possible sources of financing.
 
5. If you wish to attend the conference, please let us have your registration details as early as possible by completing the registration form accompanying this document. This will enable us to deal with issues to do with possible aid, visas, accommodation arrangements, etc. in good time.
