After all the developments in the world of International Institutions in recent years, especially in 2005 - when most of the "extraordinary" meetings of such international institutions as the WTO, the BWIs and the UN did not live up to expectations -, and according to the Organising Committee assembled in Barcelona on 10 and 11 February, if this Campaign did not already exist, it would be absolutely essential to launch it. The Campaign therefore continues, and seeks to extend and increase its impact by taking present political realities into account and will be relaunched with new political and working goals in a second phase covering the 2006-2009 period.
