UN in its Second-Half Century, The

The Independent Working Group sought to make as clear a statement as possible to the governments and peoples of the world about the need to enhance and realign the United Nations so that it might better meet the challenges of the decades ahead. Throughout this Report, we have
repeatedly stressed the need for the Member States to provide the leadership, common will and purpose which we believe are necessary to
create a more effective United Nations.
