Statement of Allan H. Meltzer on the Report of the International Financial Institution Advisory Commission

In 1999, the US Congress established a bipartisan International Institutions Advisory Committee to consider the future of the IMF, the World Bank and the other multilateral development banks. The Committee, which was chaired by Professor Alan Meltzer, reported in March 2000.
