Christian Aid believes that IFI governance will only be just when an equitable allocation of votes and an equitable capacity of developing countries in the IFIs incrementally, it is imperative that the voting system is restructured if the IFIs are to reflect democratic principles as the basis for interaction between IFI creditors and borrowers.
